As a vegetarian, its pretty hard to find a good barbecue spot that serves meatless options. My Husband and I recently visited Sticky Lips BBQ Juke Joint, they offer plenty of vegetarian bbq options!
After a day of shopping my Husband was craving BBQ, its defintely one of his favorite foods. He picked Sticky Lips! At a BBQ place I would normally scope out their salad selection or fish options. While looking through the menu to my surpise, I saw a big yellow box highlighting their vegetarian options! My face lit up with pure excitement! Before I went vegetarian, BBQ ribs were always my favorite item to order!
When it was time to order my Husband ordered the 1/4 slab of ribs with mac and cheese as well as a side of beans! I had orderd the barbecue meatless loaf with a side of mac and cheese! When our food came out we were both smiling and laughing. The food was absolutely delicious and honestly better than what I had expected. The vegetarian meatloaf isn’t your typical dry meatloaf that your Mother may have made back in the 90’s. It was layered on top of a mashed potato and smothered in BBQ sauce! When we left the restaurant, I told my Husband this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
